The construction project

The Offenburg-Ortenau trade fair is a state-of-the-art exhibition center in the economically strong, trinational Upper Rhine metropolitan region.

The premises offer space for congresses, conferences, guest trade fairs and concerts. To expand the exhibition grounds, construction of the new exhibition hall called EDEKA Arena began on December 2, 2020.

The new building consists of a hall, a 2-storey foyer and a warehouse.

Hodapp steel multifunctional door (HoSta):

The steel door that can do everything. Our multifunctional doors made of galvanized steel or stainless steel are suitable for almost all indoor and outdoor conditions. High-quality materials and careful manufacturing guarantee a high-quality product. A wide selection of standard components and a large range of special parts and accessories ensure appropriate flexibility and a high level of configurability.

Numerous components, such as hinges, ventilation grilles and sealing profiles, have been newly developed to guarantee the best properties. To give our products the necessary aesthetics, the HoSta door system has a consistent door leaf thickness of 69 mm or 106 mm and a wide range of RAL colors

Hodapp fire revolving doors:

TSN-1, TSN-2, TSN-11, TSN-12 Schröder's system

Fire revolving doors prevent the risk of fire and smoke developing and spreading. The fire resistance of the doors corresponds to either the fire protection requirements T30 or T90.

You can choose between single- and double-leaf revolving doors. The Hodapp fire-resistant revolving doors can also be combined with the following properties: smoke protection, sound insulation, airtightness, driving rain tightness, protection against wind loads and burglary protection. The product also has an excellent thermal transmittance coefficient.

Hodapp folding doors:

HFT-basic

The folding gate product group includes three different gate products: HFT-basic, HFT-classic and RFT. The differences lie fundamentally in the design, the wing division and the permissible dimension range of the gate wings. The HFT-basic folding gate has a construction depth of 54 mm.

The leaves of the gate are filled with densely foamed polyurethane foam, which enables thermal insulation of UD ≥1,2 W/(m²K) to be achieved. The gate can only be operated manually. From a height of 3.000 mm, a wicket door can be integrated and a split pedestrian leaf can be implemented.

The transformer station door (TrafoSt):

The transformer station doors, which are individually manufactured according to customer requirements, serve to protect electrical systems. They are equipped in accordance with the regulations of DIN EN 62271-202 (VDE 0671-202). In order to ensure sufficient air exchange to maintain the functionality of electrical components, the transformer station doors are designed with ventilation grilles.

These have an optimized slat geometry and a special door leaf connection. To ensure the required burglar resistance of access doors, the Hodapp company launched the TrafoSt steel solid leaf door system, which was specially developed for this application.
