Doors for the use in correctional facilities

The construction project

Detention cell doors are barrier-free security steel doors for use in police stations, courts, correctional facilities, forensic clinics and other detention cells. The double-walled, extremely torsion-resistant sheet steel door offers optimal protection against vandalism and escape attempts.

Product-specific requirements for doors:

  • Breakout resistance up to RC-4

Prison cell doors:

Our prison cell doors offer the highest level of security - tailored to your requirements. With various design variants in accordance with the VFS planning guidelines 2016, we are setting new standards in terms of escape resistance (RC-4 according to EN 1627) and fire protection class T30/EI2-30. Specially tested for the highest loads, such as those required by the German federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, our doors are extremely robust.

With a door leaf thickness of 70 mm and a sheet metal thickness of 2 mm, they offer excellent protection. The high-security locks are equipped with a bolt position indicator and occupant locking.

Optionally, the door leaf can also be made of 3 mm sheet steel and the frame of 2,5 mm sheet steel for even greater security.

The scissor-free food and dining hatch can withstand loads of over 50 kg, while the optional sound insulation of up to 37 dB ensures quiet.

Our doors can be flexibly integrated into various wall structures and are available in widths up to 1.500 mm and heights up to 2.500 mm.

Whether glazing, a rotating spy hole or a pill hatch – we offer a wide range of equipment options to meet the specific requirements of your facility.
