The transformer station door product family is a solid steel door system that has been specially developed for use in technical buildings such as transformer stations, data centers and substations.

The need for such doors arose from the necessity to supply the electrical components inside these technical buildings with sufficient fresh air.

A constant exchange of air in transformer stations is essential for the function of the transformers and prevents overheating of the electrical systems.

Product Information

Our doors are equipped with high-quality ventilation grilles, which are available in various designs and offer a free ventilation cross-section of up to 56%. These grilles ensure a constant exchange of air and meet the highest safety standards thanks to a special slat geometry and a stable connection to the door leaf.

Tailor-made solutions for your requirements.
Each transformer door is manufactured according to the strict specifications of DIN EN 62271-202 and offers the option of connecting the door frame to the existing earthing circuit. A copper earthing strap provides additional safety and a door stop enables locking at an opening angle of 90°. Optionally integrated pressure relief flaps ensure safe handling with different pressure requirements in the interior.

Robust protection against burglary and environmental influences.
Our transformer doors are made of high-quality steel and offer burglary protection up to resistance class RC4 according to DIN EN 1627. They meet the protection level IP 43D, which offers protection against the ingress of foreign bodies and falling spray water. In this way, we not only guarantee the safety of the technical systems, but also the protection of passers-by.

The ideal solution for air and security. The following versions are possible:

  • Aluminum silver-colored (E6/EV1) anodized
  • Steel primed or painted in RAL color
  • Stainless steel, bright rolled, stainless steel, ground grain 240
