The Hodapp Tunnel Swing Gate (HTD) is used in the roadway area to create a separation between the tunnel sections. In the event of a fire, the gate must be able to withstand external influences such as heat and smoke to prevent the fire from spreading.
In an emergency, the gates must be able to be opened quickly and easily so that a rapid evacuation can take place.
The integrated Hodapp fire protection sliding gate (HFS) can be easily opened in an emergency.
In dangerous situations, people can leave the tunnel tube along the marked escape route through the fire sliding door into a fire-safe area.
